During his tenure at Intercontinental, Paul’s financial acumen helped grow the company’s portfolio from $200 million to $1.4 billion across all property types.

Paul Palandjian graduated from the Belmont Hill School and went on to earn his BA from Harvard College and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

His career in finance started when he graduated the Loan Officer Training Program and began working at the First National Bank of Boston as a Banking Associate. His duties included the restructuring of distressed debt/loan workouts.

During the next 15 years, Mr. Palandjian served as Managing Director of the Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation and its affiliated companies. Intercontinental is a Boston-based firm that specializes in real estate investment, development, construction management and asset management. While at Intercontinental, Mr. Palandjian held the position of CFO and President of the company and served on both the Executive and Investment committees.

Mr. Palandjian’s next project was to start the company known as Somerset Equity Advisors, LLC, which is a US-based company that specializes in investment management and advising. Recently, Mr. Palandjian formed a partnership in 2006 with the UK-based company Trinity Group Limited in order to combine their client rosters and explore new business opportunities. Trinity is a private investment-banking firm that was founded in 1996 by Edward M. Frazer and Ford M. Fraker, the current United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Both men are experienced investment bankers with a specialty working throughout the Middle East, Western Europe and the Far East. Today Mr. Palandjian acts as Senior Advisor for Trinity.

Mr. Palandjian has received numerous awards during his career, most notably the 40 Under 40 award, which is given out by the Boston Business Journal to recognize Boston’s top young business executives.

Paul also gives much of his time to various boards most notably, the Board of Trustees at Belmont Hill School, the Board of Directors of the United States Tennis Association Foundation and on the Board of Directors for the Denis Leary Firefighter Foundation.

Mr. Palandjian enjoys life at home with his wife, Dionne and their three children.
